The 30th Australasian Finance and Banking Conference (AFBC) is organised by the Institute of Global Finance and the School of Banking and Finance, UNSW Business School. The Conference will be held on 13–15 December 2017 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, Australia.

Given the increasing success of the North American edition and the evident demand for conferences of this quality in accessible locations, the SFS is happy to announce its plans for an Asia-Pacific version of the Cavalcade. The SFS Cavalcade Asia-Pacific is a joint project of the Review of Financial Studies, the Review of Corporate Finance Studies, and the Review of Asset Pricing Studies. It will be a high-quality conference covering all areas of finance. The format is 55 minutes per paper with several concurrent parallel sessions. Our goal is to provide a setting that produces the kind of in-depth participation of a smaller conference while accommodating the variety of papers of a larger one.

Event: Colorado Finance Summit

We are pleased to invite submissions from all areas of finance to be considered for presentation at the 2017 Colorado Finance Summit. We encourage both theoretical and empirical contributions. We favor early work that has not appeared at other conferences and we favor papers authored by juniors. The final program will consist of 8 to 10 papers, plus a session with presentations by current (2017-2018) job market candidates. At the end of the conference, we will present an award for best paper presentation by a job candidate, as well as an award for the best paper on the regular program.

Event: The 25th Conference on the Theories and Practices of Securities and Financial Markets

The 25th SFM conference will be held on December 15-16, 2017, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The theme this year is Fintech and Behavioral Research in Finance; however, all financial markets related papers are welcome.

In addition to the JFS award competition and joint submission with Sun Yat-Sen Management Review (TSSCI), SFM conference also has dual submission arrangement with the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (PBFJ). Attending authors will have the option of submitting their papers to PBFJ.

SFM conference will provide up to USD 2000 for three Best Paper Awards, plus four Journal of Financial Studies Awards (USD 500). For details please check the Call for Papers announcement on the website.

Event: 8th Miami Behavioral Finance Conference

The School of Business Administration at the University of Miami is organizing its 8th Behavioral Finance Conference.  The conference will be held at the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables, Florida.
